Crochet Project Kit - The Banksia Scarf
The Banksia Scarf is a lovely, Crochet Project Kit that you can have fun producing yourself using our beautiful & soft Australian Alpaca Yarn.
Designed by Elizabeth Castle, of Castle Handmade, this fun, soft & cosy Crochet Kit is perfect for the Intermediate skill level.
The Banksia Scarf is a long and wide lightweight scarf, featuring a simple open lace design. The oval gaps within the main pattern are reminiscent of the open pockets on the seeds pods of the Banksia plant.
The substantial length and width of the scarf allows it to be worn in several ways; draped behind the neck, wrapped loosely then tossed over the shoulder, a full wrap around the neck or looped within itself for a more snug fit.
The scarf has been made using three shades of grey to create an ombre effect as they progress from light to dark.
Each Kit includes: 4ply Adagio Mills Alpaca Yarn & Card with your Ravelry Pattern download code (there is also an option to have the pattern printed).
The finished size of the scarf is approximately 140cm in length and 28cm in width.
Additional Materials required (not included): 3mm Crochet Hook, Wool Darning Needle & Scissors.
