Our Story…

When we moved to the Hawkesbury, our lifelong dream of having a small farm finally came true. Not long after purchasing our first 2 adorable Alpacas and setting them up on our property, we quickly made the decision to buy more as they are so addictive!

Since then our herd has expanded and we have the pleasure of owning 8 today (and also 1 Llama).

After many years with working in the Accounting (Donna) and Civil Engineering (Marc) Fields and then having to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic we came to realise just how important it was to have not just financial stability, but also good health, happiness and to love what you do!

We quickly grew a small fan base by specialising in a vast assortment of Australian Alpaca and Llama merchandise products.

We first offered our customers Australian Handmade Alpaca Beanies, Scarfs, Headbands & Toys (using other companies Alpaca Yarn) but as customer demand grew, we quickly adapted and were soon to offer a vast array of Alpaca & Llama Merchandise.

We soon found a gap in the market with small Alpaca herd owners with many years’ worth of Alpaca Fibre being accumulated in the shed (ourselves included) and not having any options with what to do with it.  

The stars seem to align and we were introduced to Nadine & Andrew, who had come to the end of their processing journey with Adagio Mills.

When you find such like-minded people who share the same passion for Quality Australian Yarn & Alpacas we knew it was meant to be.

We are so excited to now be able to continue with the Adagio Mills dream & journey.

Today we pride ourselves on being able to turn beautiful Australian Alpaca Fibre into useable products whilst keeping our core values intact.
