Alpacas:
Have extremely Coveted and Eco-Friendly Fibre.
Have a Light, Soft and Padded Foot which is Not harsh on the terrain, allowing them to freely graze without destroying root systems.
Eat mostly native grass and Do Not decimate natural vegetation (consuming approximately 1.5% of their body weight each day).
Can Adapt easily to varying climates, conditions, and elevations.
Are extremely Efficient with 1 Alpaca being able to produce enough Fibre to produce around 4-5 sweaters.

Processing:
We love working with our Alpaca Farmers and Growers to bring you gorgeous Australian Alpaca Yarn and Garments!
We strongly believe in Sustainable Manufacturing and Farming and are always striving to achieve more and do better each day.
So far we have achieved this by having a personal relationship with our Alpaca Growers and witnessing best practice in their farming methods.
We process from raw Alpaca Fibre to Yarn and Knitted Garments which gives us the ability to assure that our employees safety is a priority and good working conditions are provided.
We capture and use Only Rainwater and use a Biodegradable, low foaming surfactant (soap) during our washing process.
We draw our electricity from our Solar Panels and minimise our energy use where we can which lessons our impact on the environment.
We re-use and recycle wherever possible.
